Yay!

Two weeks until Christmas and I’m kicking myself into high gear!

(It is really awkward taking a picture of sleeves)

Just have to knit five more straight inches, block and sew up the side and I got one sleeve down! :D

Guess who’s practically  done with the body of the Amazing! Brilliant! Fantastic! sweater.

And if it fits me, it’ll fit my mom. So yeah. 

There’s just something satisfying about cables.

Amazing, Brilliant, Fantastic! Sweater

The start of this sweater, based off Study in Pink, for my mom’s Christmas present.  

The brown yarn is for the sleeve seams, the paperclips for the different panels. Plus I counted out the correct number of stitches excuse me while I dance across the room happily wheee.

Huzzah Hufflepuff!

I wanted to do a scarf with this badger pattern on the front and this pattern on the back but to do that, you have to carry the black in between the yellow… and it made the yellow darker and I didn’t like it. So, I just double knitted it. Not a big fan of the yellow badger with black markings on the back, though. Not sure what I’m going to do about that.

I’m thinking about buying some quality yarn and redoing it. Maybe on smaller needles, too.

Ah, well. I’ll figure something out!
